All Austin Cooperative Nursery School

"All Austin Cooperative Nursery School is a part-time preschool program. Our non-profit school is a true cooperative, run by a board made up of parents, the director, the teachers, and members of the Austin community. Each family is responsible for a support job, and parents take turns assisting the teacher in the classroom. Each family helps in the classroom about once a month. While our children are learning by playing together, we parents are learning too, by sharing information and by following the supportive guidance of our teachers."

University United Methodist Church | Early Childhood Center

Each parent works one morning every two weeks in the class of their choice. This encourages parent involvement and helps parents get to know the other kids in their child's class or in other classes, fostering more of a tight-knit community. Highly recommended!!
